I was only 15 when I knew I wanted to shoot and edit for film or television. While in the Center for Advanced Technologies Computer-Oriented Media program, I fell in love with visual storytelling. The technology allowed me to focus my creativity through the lens of the camera. I went on to study Electronic Media at the University of Miami. I mastered editing and developed expertise in graphic design and motion graphics. I like to shoot as well as edit because I know exactly what shots I need to tell the story. I strive to achieve continuity while at the same time adding variety to my framing and shot selection. My work is not done until every frame is just as I envision it in my minds eye.

While at Royal Media Partners, I further refined my editing and animation abilities while creating content for the Port Shopping Network onboard Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Lines. My team and I filmed and edited port information videos, advertisements, interviews with celebrities, short documentary segments, montages and other shows for the channel. I also created and managed systems for keeping track of media, contracts, and programming for over 30 ships.

In hopes of receiving a sponsorship with Audi of Coral Spring to support my all-female mountain biking race team, I went to the Audi A3 reveal event and filmed and edited two promos of the event. The videos were shown at Audi’s Southeastern Regional Conference, and we received sponsorship from both Audi of Coral Springs and Audi Corporate. I also edited and created graphics for a trailer shown at the United Nations Development Programme SHIFT Conference.

I have worked at NBC Miami, CBS Tampa, and multiple production companies. I am currently shooting a personal documentary about the biking scene in Miami. My goal is to raise awareness for biking as one of the most efficient, cost effective, and healthiest modes of transportation. Some of my awards include a National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Student Emmy and a National Broadcasting Society AERho Finalist award.

I have dreams of one day traveling the globe documenting diversity in cultures and filming wildlife to share with the world. I love living in Miami for its cosmopolitan flavor and nonstop lifestyle. I am a tech geek, an adrenaline junkie, and I have a soft spot for animals and nature. When I’m not working, I love to play tennis, dance salsa, and go mountain biking.
